Paul Seixas, a 19-year-old French cyclist, will line up for the start of the 113th Tour de France on July 5 in Barcelona, Spain. He will ride for the French team Decathlon CMA CGM. Seixas is set to become the youngest participant in the race since 1937.
He enters the event as a team leader after strong results earlier this season. "Age is neither a barrier nor an excuse," Seixas said in May. The statement reflected his ambitions ahead of his Tour debut. The race begins one day after the current date of July 4, 2026.
