25-Year-Old Man Kills Parents, Brother and Brother’s Girlfriend in Livonia Home Shooting
A 25-year-old suspect is in custody after authorities say he shot four family members at a Livonia, Michigan residence Tuesday evening.

When officers arrived, the suspect walked out of the home with his hands raised and indicated he had shot family members, police said. The suspect is in custody. Sterling Pierce, age 58, and Holly Kimball, age 53, were found shot dead in the backyard, Livonia Police Chief Thomas Goralski said at a press conference on June 10, 2026.
Tanner Pierce, age 22, and Nevaeh Finch, age 21, were found fatally shot in a bedroom, Goralski said. The parents and the brothers lived in the house, and the girlfriend often stayed at the house, the chief said. Livonia is about 20 miles outside of Detroit.
Goralski said there was apparently a contentious relationship between the suspect and his parents. Police do not know what happened and are still working on motives, he said. Police have not been to the house for any prior incidents involving the suspect, the chief noted.
The shooting is described by authorities as a domestic mass shooting. There is no threat to the public, Livonia police said. The suspect was not named by police.
