39-Year-Old Man Charged with Multiple Vehicle Thefts at Gunpoint in Southern Queensland

Beau Wallace Flegler, 39, from Westbrook, has been charged with 15 offenses following an alleged series of vehicle thefts in southern Queensland. The incidents reportedly took place over the Easter long weekend, spanning April 4 to April 6. Police tracked and arrested Flegler in East Toowoomba on April 6.

The charges include four counts of robbery with violence, four counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, one count of dangerous conduct with a weapon, one count of attempted robbery, and one count of unlawful possession of weapons. Flegler appeared in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on April 7, where no bail application was made.

The court remanded him in custody, and the matter is scheduled for further mention on May 26.

The following day, April 6, police spotted the LandCruiser in Toowoomba. Less than three hours later, Special Emergency Response police arrested Flegler outside a cafe in East Toowoomba.
