Jenn Todryk Shares Health Update on Hashimoto’s Disease Three Years After Leaving HGTV Show
Jenn Todryk, former host of the HGTV show No Demo Reno, provided an update on her Hashimoto’s disease via Instagram. She reported a drop in her antibody levels from 5,000 in October 2025 to 257 in a more recent test. Todryk attributed the improvement to reduced supplement use and a product she co-created.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan / Wikimedia (CC BY 4.0)Jenn Todryk, an interior decorator and former HGTV host, shared an update on her Hashimoto’s disease in a video posted on Instagram last week. Diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2014 and Hashimoto’s in 2017, Todryk hosted the show No Demo Reno from 2021 to 2023 alongside her husband, Mike Todryk. The program featured home renovations without demolition and aired for three seasons.
In the video, Todryk discussed her bloodwork results from October 2025, which showed an antibody level of 5,000. She explained that this measurement indicates inflammation and is the key marker for Hashimoto’s disease. The normal level is zero, and levels as low as 20 or 35 can indicate the condition.
Todryk stated that her antibody count later decreased to 257 in a subsequent test. She credited this change to simplifying her regimen to two products: Armour Thyroid, a hormone pill, and Glow by Beam, a hormone supplement she co-created. Around Christmas 2025, she reduced her Armour Thyroid dosage after noticing symptoms of hyperthyroidism, a possible complication of Hashimoto’s.
Hashimoto’s is an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks the thyroid gland. Common symptoms include fatigue, weight gain, and sensitivity to cold. Todryk has three children and shares home renovation content with her two million Instagram followers.
In a September episode of her podcast, You, Me & Mike, Todryk described how Hashimoto’s affects her daily life. She said she experiences frequent illness and ongoing inflammation. Todryk noted that the condition is a constant part of her identity and that she thinks about it every day.
Todryk left No Demo Reno in 2023 to prioritize family time. She reflected on this decision in an Instagram post last month, including a photo of herself on set with her daughter. She wrote that she chose to leave at the right time to avoid having her children spend their childhood on a set and to keep their home as a safe space.
The departure allowed Todryk to focus on family while continuing to share content online. Her experience highlights the challenges of managing chronic autoimmune conditions alongside professional commitments. Future updates from Todryk may provide further insights into her health management.
