Aaron Donald told Pat McAfee on Tuesday that the Los Angeles Rams' trade for Myles Garrett has him considering a return to the NFL. McAfee read a text exchange on his show in which Donald said the move "for sure got me thinking" about unretirement. " Donald retired after the 2023 season at age 35.

Garrett was traded to the Rams on Monday.
One of Donald's former teammates, Michael Brockers, said this week he believes Donald may be inclined to return following the acquisition. "My guy is staying ready so he doesn't have to get ready," Brockers said. The Rams open their season on Sept. 10. No decision on a potential comeback has been announced.
