Aaron Donald sent text messages this week indicating he is considering returning to the NFL after the Los Angeles Rams acquired Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns. The Rams completed the trade on Monday. "I'm for sure flirting with the idea," he wrote.

"Helluva an opportunity with the Super Bowl in SoFi this year. " He sent similar messages to former teammate Michael Brockers and to LeSean McCoy. "If he's interested," McVay said. " Donald spent his entire 10-year career with the Rams. He was a 10-time Pro Bowler and eight-time first-team All-Pro.

2025 Donald said he did not miss playing.

He added that he had lost the passion to return. The Rams host the Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium in February 2027.
