Rams safety Quentin Lake said Monday that Aaron Donald has given teammates reason to think he might end his retirement. Donald, 35, has made no public statements about returning to play. Lake spoke after the Rams finished an organized-team activity workout.

Garrett pairing discussed The Rams traded for defensive end Myles Garrett last week. The move has increased speculation about pairing Garrett, a two-time defensive player of the year, with Donald, a three-time winner of the award. Defensive lineman Kobie Turner said any decision belongs to Donald.

Other sports notes The U.S. men's national soccer team held its first public training session at Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine on Monday. Thirty-two thousand people applied for 5,500 passes to watch the 45-minute workout.
