The New York Yankees outfielder said Wednesday morning inside the clubhouse that he will provide an update only after imaging results are obtained. Judge stated there is no need to discuss the injury now.
He wants to deliver the full story once scans are complete rather than offer partial information. The Yankees announced after the diagnosis that further imaging would take place in approximately four to six weeks. Thursday marks four weeks since that diagnosis, yet no reimaging is scheduled in the immediate future.
Manager Aaron Boone said it feels like Judge has been feeling a lot better over the last week. Boone added that Judge is still not able to do enough to warrant reimaging or taking another step. Judge has been guarded about injury details in the past, including after fracturing his wrist in 2018.
