AC Milan rejected an approach from New York City FC for United States forward Christian Pulisic, with the Italian club stating that the player is not available, sources confirmed to ESPN. Pulisic's contract with AC Milan runs through June 2027, and the club holds an option to extend it by one additional year.
New York City FC is scheduled to open a new stadium next summer, which is expected to increase revenues available for transfers.
The club's current record incoming fee stands at approximately $9.3 million, paid for Nicolás Fernández in July 2025. AC Milan is undergoing significant changes after failing to qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the second consecutive season.
