Acer to Release Nitro Blaze Link Handheld for PC Game Streaming in Q4 2026

Acer announced the Nitro Blaze Link handheld gaming device at Computex on Friday. The company described the product as a streaming-first companion device similar to a PlayStation Portal for PC games. The Nitro Blaze Link will ship in the fourth quarter of 2026. It features a 7-inch display with 1920 x 1200 resolution, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, 1GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 8GB of eMMC storage.

Acer stated the handheld is not intended for local game execution. The 1GB of RAM is below the amount required to run Stardew Valley on the device itself. The company positioned the Nitro Blaze Link as an alternative to full handheld gaming PCs. No price has been announced.

Logitech previously released the G Cloud handheld, which launched with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and an Android operating system. That device sold for $350 and required a stable internet connection for performance. The Nitro Blaze Link runs on Linux but is not positioned as a direct competitor to devices such as the Steam Deck.
