Regina Wallace-Jones declined to answer questions on foreign donation vetting during a June 10 hearing. The House Administration Committee is examining ActBlue's verification policies.
gellerreport.comActBlue CEO Regina Wallace-Jones invoked her Fifth Amendment right not to testify 22 times during a House Administration Committee hearing on June 10, 2026. The panel is investigating how the organization vets foreign donations and whether it weakened fraud protections during the 2024 election. Wallace-Jones has been warned that she might have misled Congress about those vetting procedures.
She declined to answer questions from House Republicans on the matter. In a YouTube video, Wallace-Jones stated that invoking the Fifth Amendment is not an admission or even an insinuation of guilt. She described the proceeding as a highly partisan effort to harass the largest fundraising platform for its political opponents.
ActBlue funnels hundreds of millions of dollars each election cycle to Democratic candidates, political groups, and other major left-wing causes. The organization has long faced scrutiny over alleged foreign and fraudulent contributions. ActBlue has denied wrongdoing.
Democrats on the House panel said the hearing was a form of vendetta and pledged to seek testimony from WinRed, the leading online fundraising platform for Republican candidates.
