A group of activists from the HaBashan Pioneers movement crossed into the Mount Hermon area inside the security zone held by the IDF in Syria. The activists climbed into newly controlled areas beyond the official border line and spent the night there.
The group repeated the action after similar activities earlier in the week. A member of the movement was photographed putting on tefillin on Mount Hermon on July 9, 2026.
