Adam Vinatieri Announced for Indianapolis Colts Ring of Honor
The former kicker will be inducted on October 18 during the Colts' game against the Tennessee Titans. Vinatieri is also set for Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement next month.

Adam Vinatieri will be inducted into the Indianapolis Colts' Ring of Honor on October 18 during the team's game against the Tennessee Titans at Lucas Oil Stadium, the franchise announced Wednesday. He will become the 21st person associated with the Colts to receive the distinction.
Vinatieri is scheduled to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame next month after a 24-year NFL career spent with the New England Patriots and the Colts.
He joined the Colts as a free agent in 2006 and converted 14 field goals during that postseason, including five in a divisional-round win over the Baltimore Ravens and three in the Super Bowl XLI victory over the Chicago Bears. Vinatieri owns the NFL records for career points scored with 2,673 and field goals made with 599.
He also holds the mark for consecutive field goals made with a streak of 44 during the 2015-16 seasons.
With the Patriots he made the winning kicks in Super Bowls XXXVI and XXXVIII.
