AI Robot Cleaners Deployed in Beijing Apartments and Offices

AI-powered robot cleaners have begun operating in Beijing apartments and offices, assisting human staff with daily tidying tasks.

Beijing cleaner Lin Meiqiong said her work became easier after she was paired with a tall, wheeled robot equipped with AI tidying capabilities. The robot performs cleaning functions that previously required human labor alone. The devices represent a shift from controlled laboratory environments to everyday settings across China.

Lin stated that the technology handles repetitive motions while she focuses on other duties.
