Ajman tourism officials met Germany's consul general and her delegation on June 17 to discuss possible joint work in tourism marketing and cultural events. His Excellency Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of the Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, hosted Her Excellency Sybille Pfaff, Consul General of Germany in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
The group also included staff from the German Cultural Attaché and the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce.
The two sides reviewed prospects for cooperation in tourism promotion and the staging of cultural and artistic programs. Officials said the goal is to strengthen ties and increase tourism and cultural exchange between Ajman and Germany. The visit formed part of an official trip to the Emirate of Ajman by the German delegation.
