Alan Porter Named Crew Chief for MLB All-Star Game in Philadelphia
ESPN reported that Alan Porter will serve as crew chief and home plate umpire for Tuesday's All-Star Game at Citizens Bank Park. The 48-year-old joins a six-umpire crew with assignments across the infield and outfield.

Alan Porter will serve as crew chief and call balls and strikes for Tuesday night's All-Star Game at Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park, ESPN reported. The 48-year-old made his major league debut in 2010, joined the full-time staff in 2013 and was promoted to crew chief in 2023.
He previously worked the 2015 All-Star Game as the right field umpire and officiated the World Series in 2019, 2022 and 2025.
Chris Conroy will be at first base, Chad Whitson at second base and Ryan Additon at third base. Adam Beck will cover left field and Edwin Moscoso will cover right field. Vic Carapazza will handle video review from New York.
