Alaska Lt. Gov. Demands Affidavit From Dan J. Sullivan Over Name-Similarity Complaint in GOP Senate Primary

Sen. Dan Sullivan, who is seeking a third term, stated that Dan J. Sullivan’s primary purpose is not to win an election but to confuse Alaskans and rig the vote for the Democrat. The senator described his same-name opponent as a far-left liberal with a track record of donating to Democrats.
He said he asked his Democratic colleagues about the situation and they had no idea what is going on. Sen. Dan Sullivan accused Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of colluding to defeat him.
He stated that Schumer hand-recruited and handpicked former Rep. Mary Peltola as his top recruit for Alaska. The National Republican Senatorial Committee requested that the Federal Election Commission investigate an alleged coordinated scheme between Dan J.
