More than 100 boxes will be given away per daily release, the company said. The four themes are Snack Blind Box, Fiber Blind Box, Protein Blind Box, and Mystery Blind Box.
Aldi is also testing a redesigned store format in the United States. Changes include new signage, pricing language and updated visuals. The updates are part of Aldi South's effort to create a consistent store look across countries. The company is working with Landini Associates on the new format.
Aldi currently describes its stores as offering essentials in smaller, sustainable spaces with packaging that doubles as displays. The new model is designed to allow more flexible layouts, including smaller locations that could serve urban or smaller markets.
