Amusement Parks Close as Canadian Wildfire Smoke Brings Hazardous Air Quality to Midwest and Northeast

Forecasters said the plume could reach East Rutherford, New Jersey, ahead of the World Cup Final. Canada had more than 700 active wildfires that had burned 8.2 million acres as of July 17. Sen.
