Analyst Discusses Iran Nuclear Facilities After Strikes and Democratic Party Shifts

A Washington Examiner program reviewed recent U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities and shifts in Democratic Party candidate selection.

Rosen, a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, said some launchers and missiles previously buried had been recovered by Iranian forces. He stated that the strikes created a significant reduction in capabilities but left additional work ahead.

Rosen outlined several factors for future negotiations, including oil sanctions, proxy conflicts, removal of nuclear material, and internal Iranian opposition to the current regime. He described a signed memorandum of understanding as an initial step rather than a conclusion.

Antle, executive editor of the Washington Examiner magazine, said Sen. Bernie Sanders affirmed he will not run for president in 2028. Antle stated that younger primary winners could shape the party's direction going forward. Jay Caruso said primary voters in Texas selected a candidate with 63.8 percent of the vote despite an opponent's established record.

He stated that some activists now prioritize alignment with movement positions over other considerations in candidate selection.
