As many as 20 financial institutions and large tech companies are in a queue to issue their own stablecoins with Anchorage Digital, CEO Nathan McCauley said Thursday at Consensus Miami 2026. "Since the Genius Act passed, Anchorage has won every single large stablecoin issuance mandate across the landscape," McCauley said.

" The kind of inbounds Anchorage sees are banks that want to achieve a very specific objective and stablecoin issuers who say they have a distribution channel where they can put their stablecoin to good use, McCauley added.

U.S. regulatory framework for digital assets. To meet rising demand, Anchorage announced a partnership with M0 last month.

M0 is a technology provider that allows global institutions to mint fully configurable stablecoins and works with Stripe, Moonpay and MetaMask. Anchorage launched its AI-based “Agentic Bank” this week, partnering with Google Cloud infrastructure for the service.
