This marks the fifth annual running of the event at the Miami International Autodrome in Miami Gardens, Florida. The race weekend began with a sprint race, the second such event this season. Lando Norris, the reigning World Drivers Champion, finished first in the sprint race.
His McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri took second place, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc finished third. Norris will start the main race in P4 position. 3-mile course with 19 turns.
