Artificial intelligence startup Anthropic is scheduled to brief the Financial Stability Board on cyber vulnerabilities identified by its Mythos Preview AI model, according to a Financial Times report published Monday. The session will include leading finance ministries and central banks that participate in the FSB. Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey requested the briefing.

Mythos was announced last month and remains unreleased.

Anthropic described it as a cybersecurity model that can detect decades-old vulnerabilities in web browsers, infrastructure, and software.

An FSB spokesperson said the organization welcomes engagement with Anthropic and other firms on emerging risks to global financial stability. Anthropic did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
