The sleep apnoea feature is available on Apple Watch Series 9 or later, Watch Ultra 2, and Watch SE 3 running the latest version of watchOS. It is intended for users 18 years and older who have not previously been diagnosed with the condition.
Users enable the feature through the Health app on iPhone by selecting Respiratory and following the setup steps. After setup, breathing disturbances appear in the Health app and can be exported as a PDF report for healthcare providers.
3 users can now take a five-minute hearing test in a quiet location after confirming a proper ear tip seal. Results appear in the Health app with decibel levels indicating hearing thresholds and can also be exported as a PDF. The company previously released hearing aid features for AirPods Pro users in Italy, Romania, and Czechia on May 12.
