APT Luxury Travel has released its 2027 Canada and Alaska touring program. The itineraries combine rail journeys through the Rocky Mountains with cruises along the Inside Passage and visits to Glacier Bay National Park.
Travelers board the Rocky Mountaineer in Vancouver for the GoldLeaf Service. The route passes through the Fraser Valley, Kamloops, and continues toward Banff and Lake Louise. Snow-capped peaks, pine forests, and emerald-colored lakes are visible from the train windows.
The 19-day Rockies Explorer and Alaska Cruise itinerary includes a stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs hotel. Guests can choose activities such as a gondola ride to Sulphur Mountain, a helicopter tour, or a float on the Bow River. An excursion to the Athabasca Glacier uses a specialized bus for close access to the ice.
Tours operate year-round.
Spring and fall shoulder seasons feature wildflowers and autumn foliage. Winter itineraries offer snowshoeing, dog sledding, and skating on frozen Lake Louise. The 22-day Rockies Odyssey and Alaska Cruise covers the Rocky Mountains and sails through Alaska's Inside Passage.
The 17-day Eastern Canada itinerary includes Niagara Falls. Some tours limit groups to a maximum of 24 guests and include private visits to Butchart Gardens and the Capilano Suspension Bridge. APT Luxury Travel has operated in North America for 30 years.
