Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta led the team to this milestone, their only previous Champions League final appearance coming in 2006 against Barcelona. The Gunners maintained an unbeaten streak in their last 10 UEFA matches against Spanish opposition, with eight wins and two draws.
At home, they lost only one of their last 16 UEFA matches against Spanish clubs, securing 10 wins and five draws, and won their last four such home matches without conceding.
The Champions League final is set for May 30, 2026, at the Puskas Arena in Budapest. Arsenal will face the winner of the other semifinal, where Bayern Munich host PSG in Munich, Germany, on Wednesday. PSG hold a 5-4 advantage from the first leg.
