Arthur Fery reaches Wimbledon semi-finals, invites Prince George and Princess Charlotte to play tennis
British semi-finalist Arthur Fery met the Prince and Princess of Wales at Wimbledon on Sunday and invited their children to play tennis with him. The Princess of Wales presented him with a birthday card on his 24th birthday.

British tennis player Arthur Fery invited Prince George and Princess Charlotte to play tennis after meeting the Prince and Princess of Wales at the All England Club on Sunday. The Prince and Princess of Wales arrived shortly after 15:00 BST with Prince George and Princess Charlotte and received a standing ovation upon entering the royal box.
The Princess of Wales, patron of the All England Club, congratulated Fery on his run to the semi-finals and presented him with a birthday card.
Prince William remarked "What a tournament" during the exchange. Fery, who turned 24 on Sunday, told the Princess of Wales that the whole family are tennis fans and said he was free to hit with the children. "It would be good to see them again," Fery said.
When asked if he expected a call, he replied: "Let's see, I don't know... " Fery described playing on Centre Court as "Really special" and noted that the Princess had attended his second-round match. Fery entered the tournament as a wildcard ranked 114th in the world and had never advanced beyond the second round of a Grand Slam.
He will be confirmed as the new British number one and rise to 36th in the world rankings on Monday while receiving £900,000 in prize money. The Princess of Wales later presented the winner's trophy to Jannik Sinner after his second consecutive Wimbledon men's singles title.
