Ashley Perez Alleges 2015 Advance by Phil Mickelson at Barclays Championship

Ashley Perez stated that Phil Mickelson showed her a full-body nude photo of himself with an erection while flexing one bicep after dinner on the balcony of his villa at Liberty National Golf Club during the 2015 Barclays Championship. She said Mickelson told her, "I'm going to leave my bedroom door open tonight.

" Perez said she demurred and later told her then-husband Pat Perez about the incident at the end of the tournament.

Mickelson had invited Ashley Perez and Pat Perez to stay at his villa for the event. Perez said Mickelson apologized to Pat Perez during a corporate outing at the Madison Club in La Quinta, California, and again in a lengthy phone call that she recorded.

CBS Sports reported that Mickelson lost his membership at The Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, California, earlier in 2026 for "non-consensual, inappropriate" behavior with a female employee.

He also left The Madison Club and The Bridges golf clubs in the Rancho Santa Fe area in recent years. Mickelson has played in only one professional event in the 2026 season, finishing tied for 48th at LIV Golf South Africa in March. He cited a family health matter for his absence from the Masters and PGA Championship and did not attempt to qualify for the U.S.

Open. If he does not play in the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, it will be the first year since 1989 without an appearance in at least one major championship. Mickelson's attorney Tom Clare stated that some allegations are false and others revisit mistakes already acknowledged publicly or privately.

Clare added that Mickelson's priority is to become the husband, father, and man his family deserves while giving full attention to a private family health matter.
