ATEEZ Wins Daesang at 35th Seoul Music Awards Held June 20
The ceremony at Inspire Arena in Incheon named ATEEZ grand-prize winner and distributed Bonsang and category awards to ten acts including BOYNEXTDOOR and LE SSERAFIM.

The 35th Seoul Music Awards took place June 20 at Inspire Arena in Incheon. ATEEZ received the Daesang, the ceremony’s grand prize. BOYNEXTDOOR collected four awards: World Best Artist, Best Album, R&B/Hip Hop Award, and a Bonsang.
LE SSERAFIM won Best Digital Song for the track “Spaghetti” featuring j-hope, shared the World Best Artist award with BOYNEXTDOOR, and received a Bonsang. ZEROBASEONE earned a Bonsang, the Best Group award, Best Album, and the OST Award for member Sung Hanbin’s performance of “You Are Spring” from Spring Fever. Lee Chan-won won Best Artist, the Trot Award, the Popularity Award, and a Bonsang.
Roo’ra received the Legend Award. BTS was given the Hallyu Special Award. TXT’s Yeonjun won the K-Pop World Choice Solo award, and Super Junior won the K-Pop World Choice Group award. ) received the New Icon Award.
Rookie awards went to idntt, SAY MY NAME, MODYSSEY, idid, CLOSE YOUR EYES, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, and AHOF. Additional category winners included izna and xikers for Best Performance, Dragon Pony for Band, HANRORO for Rock/Ballad, and WJSN’s Dayoung for Best Solo. Bonsang recipients also included KiiiKiii, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, Hearts2Hearts, Kwon Eun-bi, and ATEEZ.
The ceremony was hosted by Super Junior’s Leeteuk, KiiiKiii’s Leesol, and ZEROBASEONE’s Park Gun-wook. The Seoul Music Awards date to 1990; past Daesang recipients include BTS, EXO, Girls’ Generation, and Super Junior.
