Aurum Resources Reports Thick Gold Intercepts at Boundiali Project in Côte d’Ivoire

Aurum Resources announced new drilling results from its BDT2 deposit at the Boundiali project, including thick intercepts of gold mineralization. The results extend beyond the current resource boundaries and support resource expansion. The company plans to continue drilling and complete feasibility studies in 2026.

Aurum Resources has reported new diamond drilling results from its BDT2 deposit at the Boundiali gold project in Côte d’Ivoire. The drilling program has completed over 12,000 meters as part of a 40-hole campaign aimed at expanding the resource and upgrading inferred resources to indicated category.

The project is located within a 13-kilometer structural corridor. One intercept included 36 meters at 1.99 grams per tonne gold from 280 meters, with a 1.85-meter section at 27.97 grams per tonne. Another hole yielded 22 meters at 1.40 grams per tonne from 97 meters, and a third showed 18.5 meters at 1.18 grams per tonne from 245 meters, including 3.5 meters at 4.6 grams per tonne.

Additional zones between 115 and 150 meters depth exceeded 20 grams per tonne over two meters or more.

The mineralization features multiple zones per hole, hosted in a north-south trending sandstone unit surrounded by volcanic-sedimentary rocks. It is associated with disseminated sulphides and alteration including silica, hematite, and chlorite, and is largely free-milling.

True widths range from 60 to 85 percent of downhole intercepts. Drilling has intersected gold beyond the current resource boundaries, indicating potential expansion along strike and at depth. The company operates 14 diamond rigs across Boundiali as part of a 130,000-meter drilling program planned for 2026.

Exploration focuses on surface targets, with scope for deeper discoveries.

and Development Plans Aurum Resources

holds a combined resource of 4.2 million ounces across its projects, including 3.03 million ounces at Boundiali and 1.16 million ounces at the Napié project. A prefeasibility study for Boundiali is scheduled for May 2026, outlining an open-pit mining scenario, followed by a definitive feasibility study later in the year.

Additional prospects at BD, BM, and BST are being tested. The company is also advancing work at the Napié project, 100 kilometers southeast of Boundiali, where drilling has produced high-grade gold intercepts. Aurum Resources reported $61 million in cash as of December 2025 and owns its drilling fleet.

The projects are in West Africa, a region with growing interest in gold exploration.
