Austin Theory Pins Angelo Dawkins After Interference to Win World Tag Team Titles on Raw

Austin Theory pinned Angelo Dawkins on July 6 at Allstate Arena in Chicago to win the World Tag Team Championship for The Vision. The match against Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins of The Street Profits ended after Maxxine Dupri delivered a low blow to Dawkins. Logan Paul interfered during the contest by attempting to hand brass knuckles to Theory and Bron Breakker.

Dawkins took possession of one set, prompting Paul to distract the referee. Dupri then entered the ring and struck Dawkins, enabling Theory to roll him up for the pin. After the match, Theory, Breakker and Paul began walking up the entrance ramp.

Dupri approached Theory, stared at him, jumped into his arms and kissed him. She then left with The Vision as Otis and Akira Tozawa watched. Paul Heyman had addressed The Vision before the match. He later described the victory as a first step.

Dupri had associated with Theory for several weeks and had defended him to Otis and Tozawa. Fox News reported that The Vision are back on top of the tag team division on Raw.
