Australian politician supports mass deportations after UK visit

Pauline Hanson said she supported mass deportations and would welcome Tommy Robinson in Australia if she became prime minister. Hanson described the visit as a fact-finding mission and said seeing conditions in the London borough of Tower Hamlets strengthened her views.

The area has a population that is nearly 40 percent Muslim, the highest proportion in England. She said the end of the White Australia Policy had created problems and that she would work to prevent similar outcomes in Australia. Hanson also defended her past use of the word monoculture and her warning that Australia risked being swamped by Asians.

comments Hanson said she had no regrets about anything she had said or done in her political career. Barnaby Joyce was also interviewed and said he believed Hanson had the intellectual capacity to serve as prime minister. Hanson later spoke with students at the Islamic College of Brisbane. One student told her that Australia was the only home the student had ever known.
