Ayaneo announced the Konkr Pocket Block, an extremely compact vertical gaming handheld that adopts retro Game Boy styling. The device will incorporate AI features, though the company did not specify what those features are or how they will function.
Ayaneo presented the Konkr Pocket Block during a streaming session and showed side-by-side images with earlier models including the Pocket Vert and Pocket DMG. The new unit uses a pocketable form factor and retro aesthetics instead of the minimalist design of the company's other vertical handhelds.
Ayaneo stated it will release additional specifications at a later date. The handheld is expected to carry a lower price than the Pocket Vert, which starts at $269, because it will be offered through the company's budget sub-brand.
