Backstreet Boys Single Debuts on Two U.S. Radio Charts

The Backstreet Boys return to U.S. radio charts this week with the single "Bottle Up." The track appears on the soundtrack for the upcoming animated film Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie. "Bottle Up" debuts at No. 19 on the Adult Contemporary chart and at No. 40 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart. The song does not appear on the Pop Airplay ranking.

The new single ties the band's previous lowest peak on the Adult Pop Airplay chart. It matches the position reached by the 2001 track "Drowning." On the Adult Contemporary chart, "Bottle Up" ties the No. 19 peak set by the 2022 single "Christmas in New York." The track is the group's first new entry on either ranking since the 2022 holiday album A Very Backstreet Christmas.

The 2022 album produced multiple Adult Contemporary singles, including a cover of "Last Christmas" that reached No. 1. That same release also featured "Christmas in New York," which stopped at No. 19. "Bottle Up" is the only debut on this week's Adult Contemporary chart. On the Adult Pop Airplay tally, the track trails a new single by Niall Horan that enters at No. 35.
