The Barbarians will start Scotland wing Duhan van der Merwe and Wales hooker Elliot Dee in Saturday's match against South Africa at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha.
Africa named a side without its Bulls players due to their participation in Friday's United Rugby Championship Grand Final. Rassie Erasmus selected several prospects for the fixture. Barbarians captain New Zealand scrum-half TJ Perenara will lead a team that also includes Argentina fly-half Tomas Albornoz and Edinburgh forwards D'Arcy Rae and Liam McConnell.
