Ben Simmons is increasing his training with the goal of returning to the NBA. Simmons was not on an NBA roster last season. He last appeared in games during the 2024-25 season.
Simmons' career Simmons was selected first overall in the 2016 draft. He is a three-time All-Star and the 2017-18 Rookie of the Year. He has dealt with multiple injuries and missed the entire 2021-22 season while with one team before being traded midseason.
" He said he plans to get as strong as possible and show teams his abilities. "Maybe I'll go back to Philly," Simmons said. " Simmons added that coaches have told him he can return if he regains his health. He said the decision to attempt a comeback is his own.
"I think this is just what I'm choosing to do, like, no one's forcing me," Simmons said.
