Bitcoin Holds Near $64,200 as Oil Rises to One-Month High on U.S.–Iran Strikes

Bitcoin traded at approximately $64,200 on July 20, 2026, roughly flat on the day and up 3 percent for the week, with about $18 billion changing hands. Ether rose to $1,860, gaining 5 percent over seven sessions. XRP held at $1.09, Solana reached $76, BNB slipped to $565 and dogecoin stayed near $0.07.
Hyperliquid's HYPE fell 10 percent on the week to $60. Brent crude climbed as much as 4 percent to $91.42 a barrel, its highest level since June. U.S. and Iranian strikes had widened beyond military targets as the conflict entered its second week of open exchanges.
The advance in oil revived concerns over inflation and interest rates that had eased after softer U.S. price data earlier in the month. The release of Moonshot AI's Kimi K3 model, which led a widely watched coding benchmark, continued to pressure semiconductor shares and related assets.
South Korea's Kospi index fell 3.5 percent on the first trading day after a holiday. U.S. futures showed the Nasdaq 100 up 0.5 percent. No major U.S. economic data releases are scheduled this week. Alphabet is set to report earnings on Tuesday, Tesla on Wednesday and Intel on Thursday.
Those results will provide the next direct reading on capital spending in the technology sector that has supported parts of the cryptocurrency market.
