The company now reports a $1 billion valuation and $500 million in annual revenue. Co-founder and President Mari Llewellyn said the brand began after she posted about her personal transformation in 2019.
A community formed around the post, and the company responded by developing products based on customer requests, starting with workout guides and later adding supplements and beverages.
Energy launched in July 2024 and reached eight figures in revenue within six months. The company sold 35 million cans in under a year and 155 million beverages in 2025. Bloom is now the fifth-largest energy drink brand at Walmart and Target and second on Amazon. 7 million in its first few weeks, reaching the third position in the modern soda category.
Lavecchia said the company enters categories after they are established and focuses on improved flavor, quality, and branding. He stated that the approach avoids the need to educate consumers about new product types. SVP of Brand Erica Tam said the company treats customers like its most important influencers by extending creator-style experiences to them.
This includes sending product samples and creating in-person events such as The Dream Diner in Austin and the Treat Shoppe in New York. Llewellyn launched the Pursuit of Wellness podcast in 2023, which expanded into the Pursuit Network of wellness creators.
The company maintains a 90 percent female in-house team and plans to introduce Summer Splash Sparkling Energy and Rocket Blast soda in May.
