The film centers on Fredrik, a man whose life unravels after receiving anonymous letters containing instructions. Obedience to the letters brings rewards, while resistance leads to punishment, drawing him into a system of psychological control. The narrative explores themes of loneliness, free will, and the appeal of structure in isolation.

The acquisition positions the film for potential international distribution ahead of its Cannes presentation.
