Blue Jays Face Yankees in First Regular Season Series Since Playoff Win

The Toronto Blue Jays will play the New York Yankees in the Bronx for the first time since last year’s American League Division Series. The Blue Jays won that four-game series and advanced to the World Series. Both teams have changed their rosters since then.

The Blue Jays added pitchers Dylan Cease and Tyler Rogers along with infielder Kazuma Okamoto. They also replaced shortstop Bo Bichette with Andrés Giménez, who is now the everyday shortstop. Giménez said the team is treating the upcoming series as a new matchup.
