forbes.comProject Healthy Minds announced that Rich Kleiman, CEO and co-founder of Boardroom and 35V, will join its board of directors. Kleiman’s appointment adds a media executive whose career has included work in music management, sports representation, and digital content. Boardroom has developed video and audio programming along with a membership platform.
The nonprofit’s board already includes NBC Today co-host Carson Daly, Universal Music publishing CEO Jody Gerson, media adviser Michael Kassan, and Indianapolis Colts co-owner Kalen Jackson.
Minds launched in 2020 with support from several Hollywood figures and is led by Phil Schermer. Last year the group honored Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at its annual gala. Kleiman stated that joining the board is one of the most meaningful moments of his career, citing personal experience with mental health challenges that affected his mother and his own use of mental health resources.
Schermer said Kleiman has an ability to identify emerging opportunities and that his background at the intersection of sports, culture, and business will help expand the organization’s reach.
