Bode Miller was arrested in Idaho after a June 6 incident and charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Miller posted a $5,000 cash bond and was released. He has pleaded not guilty to both charges.
His attorney filed an appearance shortly after the case opened. The case remains active with a pretrial hearing scheduled for July 29. Miller's 19-month-old daughter Emeline died on June 10, 2018, after drowning in a neighbor's swimming pool.
Miller won six Olympic medals, including a gold in the super combined at the 2010 Vancouver Games, and two overall World Cup titles. He retired from competitive skiing in 2017.
