Belgrade police chief Milic was arrested on May 15 following the incident and later dismissed from his post. He was remanded in custody for 30 days after questioning.
Milic previously served as security adviser to President Vucic between 2018 and 2020, according to local media. Belgrade lawyer Ivan Ninic said information began to leak after the incident, prompting authorities to clarify the situation. He noted there were many witnesses to the events that night in Senjak.
