Boeing delivered 60 airplanes in May, including 51 737 Max jets and six 787s, according to data reported by @LiveSquawk. The company booked 27 gross orders during the month and recorded 16 cancellations, resulting in a net of 11 orders for the period. Through the end of May, Boeing had booked 295 orders after accounting for cancellations.

Its official backlog stood at 6,178 airplanes as of May 31, down from 6,216 airplanes on April 30. The figures cover commercial aircraft deliveries, orders, and backlog activity for May and the year to date.
