Extracts from the paperback edition of Andrew Lownie's book Entitled state that Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, had a "friends with benefits" relationship with Sarah Ferguson that began in 2004 and continued for years. The book reports that a former employee at Combs' Bad Boy Records said the rapper was obsessed with the Royal Family, bragged about having sex with Ferguson and once said he could not wait until her daughters came of age.

It adds that another associate of Combs said the pair first met in New York in 2002 at a party hosted by Ghislaine Maxwell. Lownie wrote that Combs launched his Unforgivable perfume in 2006 claiming it was inspired by Ferguson and how she liked a man to smell.

The book states the pair met in Europe and Africa, stayed at luxury hotels including one costing more than 50,000 pounds a night, and that Ferguson introduced her daughters to Combs several times, including at a yacht party with her daughter Eugenie when she was 16 in 2006.

A royal family staff member is quoted in the book as saying Combs' parties were wild and that it was alarming Ferguson brought Eugenie. The book also reports that several people, including the Queen, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Prince Charles, were aware of her activities but turned a blind eye to protect the family from more scandal.

" Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor divorced in the 1990s but remained close as recently as last year. Ferguson has faced scrutiny over her financial ties to Jeffrey Epstein, who paid some of her debts. In 2011 Ferguson told the Evening Standard it had been a gigantic error of judgement to let Epstein pay off her debts.

She later emailed Epstein to apologize for her public statements, saying she had been paralyzed by fear and had been advised not to contact him. Lownie told Newsweek he stood by the account in his book, saying it comes from multiple people including two sources on Diddy's side as well as royal sources.

He noted that Ferguson had previously denied aspects of her relationship with Epstein.

and Mountbatten-Windsor In October

2024 Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison after being found guilty of two counts of transportation for prostitution. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in a public office after reports he leaked confidential trade documents to Epstein while serving as a U.K. government trade envoy.

He has denied Epstein-related wrongdoing. Mountbatten-Windsor has denied allegations that he had sex with Virginia Giuffre when she was 17. The paperback edition of Lownie's book is scheduled for release on May 21.
