She told Liberty director of player development Andrew Wade to start imposing penalties because she was frustrated with the misses. nypost.com reported that Stewart made the comments after her three-point accuracy fell for the third straight season.
In 2025 she shot 24.1 percent from beyond the arc and made 21 three-pointers, the lowest total of her nine WNBA seasons. The forward joined the Liberty ahead of the 2023 season. That year she shot 35.5 percent from three-point range.
Her percentage dropped to 29.5 percent in 2024 and then to 24.1 percent in 2025.
