Britain to spend over 250 million pounds on Jewish community security

Britain will spend over 250 million pounds across the next three years to increase security for Jewish communities, the government said on Monday. The funding will deliver over 500 additional officers across England and Wales. Officers will be assigned to Jewish neighborhoods and around schools, synagogues and community centers.

The announcement follows a series of antisemitic attacks. The government linked the new spending directly to those incidents.
