British Airways Suspends Four Cabin Crew After Alleged Drunken Misconduct at Belfast Hotel

British Airways suspended four cabin crew members after an incident at a Belfast hotel last month. The crew had operated the final flight from London to Belfast and were scheduled to work the return service the following day. The incident occurred in the early hours after a drinking session that began at 9pm.

A cabin crew member allegedly offered a hotel employee sexual access to her breasts in exchange for wine, lifted her clothing, and bounced up and down while making the offer, according to GB News reporting. The hotel employee reported the alleged proposition to management. The incident was recorded on the hotel's security cameras.

British Airways launched an investigation and removed all four crew members from duty. The airline arranged for replacement cabin crew to be transported to Belfast to operate the return flight to London. A source told the Sun that the crew member went to the hotel lobby to ask for another bottle of wine.

The airline continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident. The incident comes after British Airways chief executive Luis Gallego warned that all airlines will have to increase fares due to rising fuel costs from the war in Iran.
