Bron Breakker Pins Seth Rollins at WWE Backlash 2026 Following Interference-Heavy Match

Bron Breakker defeated Seth Rollins at WWE Backlash 2026 on May 9, 2026 in Tampa after an interference-filled match that ended with a pair of rib-splitting spears. The finish came after Rollins re-entered the ring following a sequence in which he hit Austin Theory with a chair and a Stomp before chasing Logan Paul out of the ring area.

Breakker hit Rollins with a spear as he returned, then delivered a torpedo spear for the pinfall.

Michael Cole said "Bron Breakker has arrived" at the end of the opening match. Paul Heyman was in Bron Breakker's corner during the match against Seth Rollins at WWE Backlash 2026. Heyman jumped on the ring apron to prevent Rollins from securing a pin after The Stomp.

Rollins kicked out of Breakker's first spear just before three. Early in the bout, action spilled to the outside and into the crowd with the referee giving leeway.

Breakker responded with a military press into a gutbuster and a standing moonsault for another two-count. Rollins hit a buckle bomb followed by a vicious clothesline. Breakker leaped off the ring apron and crashed into Rollins with a flying clothesline over the announce table.

Rollins hit a Pedigree during the contest. The two had previously squared off when Breakker was still in NXT. Breakker's match at WWE Backlash 2026 was his first since appearing in the Royal Rumble in January 2026.

He made his return at WrestleMania 42 by costing Rollins a victory against Gunther. In October 2025, Rollins suffered a torn rotator cuff at Crown Jewel, relinquished the World Heavyweight Championship and was kicked out of The Vision. Bron Breakker replaced him as the unofficial leader of The Vision.
