Buc-ee’s to Open First Stores in Arizona and Arkansas This Year

The first Arizona location is scheduled to open on June 22 in Goodyear, about 18 miles west of Phoenix. The first Arkansas location is planned to open in August in Benton, about 149 miles southwest of Memphis, according to Fox News.
The company will continue its expansion in 2027 with new stores in Kansas, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Louisiana. com. Buc-ee’s was founded in Texas in 1982. The chain did not expand outside the state until it opened a location in Alabama in 2019.
There are currently four locations in Alabama, one in Colorado, two in Florida, three in Georgia, two in Kentucky, one each in Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio and South Carolina, two in Tennessee, one in Virginia and 36 in Texas. Among the Texas locations is the world’s largest convenience store, a Buc-ee’s in Luling, about 53 miles northeast of San Antonio.
That store has an area of 75,593 square feet.
